Today I'm excited to share some newborn photos with you of a recent session I did! If you're wondering when you should book your newborn session, here are some FAQ's When should I book my newborn session? -The answer is "The sooner the better"! I always book newborn session based off the baby's due date, but with a lot of flexibility should the baby come early or decide to take his/her time! However, if you want to wait until baby is born to book photos, I may not have availability! So let's communicate about that :)
Will I be in the photos? -YES! If you would like to do a family photo or include siblings, I'm all about that :) I try to get a variety and work quickly so the process isn't overwhelming. I capture these moments in the beginning typically so it does help if Dad or Grandma can drive separately to take the kiddos home or to a park while I photograph your sweet baby solo. What should I bring?
-I have everything we will need for your baby's photos, but if you have questions or something sentimental you'd like to incorporate, I'm in! Just communicate that with me :)
Should I feed baby beforehand? - I would say to feed your baby prior to coming or top them off in the studio to make sure that we have a happy and satisfied baby! I. DO. NOT.RUSH. newborn sessions and I follow baby's lead so if we need to pause and feed them half way through, then we do!
How long does a session last?
-That really depends on how well baby does with posing and being sleepy! I've had a newborn session finished in 1 hour and I've had some last 3, If I feel like your baby isn't going to settle, meaning I won't get the photos you love and want, then we may reschedule and try a different day that week to get them back when they're happier.
When will I see the photos?
-At the end of your session we will set a date for your REVEAL SESSION! These are SO MUCH FUN! This is where I show you all the beautiful images that I've edited of your little one/family and you will choose which photos you'd like to purchase!
When should I book my next session?
-If you want to capture all those fun milestones, we can set up the next few sessions anytime you're ready!
